NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED - Fun, friendly and informal learning each week.

CHALK PASTELS / WATERCOLOUR PENCIL / ACRYLIC PAINT / BRUSHES / THICK PAPER

What Do I need / links to buy mediums? Flat table surface, your screen to see me, any HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, pot of water. The mediums for this project are in links above. These mediums will last approx a year. You dont need all these mediums if you wish to use what you already have.

Contents: We will be creating stunning images looking at line, tone, composition and detail. From a beautiful landscape to a wonderful Art Nouveau style portrait, you’ll develop your artists skills and have fun at the same time!

Thursdays 8.15pm: - 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th January, 6th February - 5 wk Course.

Week one: 9th January: Ink appearance elephant artwork using watercolour pencil or watered down paint and ink, (biro).

Week two: 16th January: A dog portrait using acrylic paint, collage from magazines.

Week three: 23rd January: Incredible sunset vista using acrylic paint and chalk pastel.

Week four: 30th January: Art Nouveau style portrait using watercolour pencil.

Week five: 6th February: Japanese style landscape using chalk pastel.

Emmylou’s background:

Emmylou is a professional artist who has been teaching art for over 20 years on how to create their very own masterpiece. Introducing students to the influences and techniques of famous artists and incorporating these methods in their own work.

Throughout courses, and depending on the material for that project, you will explore the potential of different materials such as charcoal, pastel, paint, watercolour and many more.

I look forward to teaching assisting you on your creative journey.
