NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED - Educational, fun and informal learning each week.

Day: Tuesday 5th November - 3rd December - 5 week project, (no class on 19th November as parents evening)

Cost: Total of £50.00 for the 5 lessons  / Time: 3.10pm - 4.20pm / Open: Yr 1 - Yr 6

Contents: This exciting, innovative project is where David McEown meets Jackson Pollock! The children will create a stunning, snowy ARCTIC scene with animals behind a firework sky. The animals will be a snow hare, seal, polar bear and empire penguin with chick. The children will learn applications of mediums such as inks and watercolour. This is a great opportunity for the children to produce realistic studies of animals whilst incorporating an inky abstract Pollock background.

Materials: Using inks and watercolours

Learning outcomes: Each student will learn how to create composition, proportion, merging two artists in one, application on large A2 watercolour paper and using learning, listening and fine motor skills.

Emmylou is a professional artist who has been teaching art for over 20 years on how to create their very own masterpiece. Introducing students to the influences and techniques of famous artists and incorporating these methods in their own work.

Throughout courses, and depending on the material for that project, your child will explore the potential of different materials throughout each course.
